Job Description

Role

The Finance Head will be responsible for the financial management ensuring that our organization's financial resources are effectively managed to achieve its goals. You will play a critical role in the success of the organization by providing financial leadership, strategic guidance, and effective risk management. The finance head will be responsible for ensuring that the company's financial performance is optimal, financial risks are identified and managed, and financial decisions are aligned with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Developing and implementing the financial strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. 
• Capital Management: Raising capital, managing debt and equity financing, along with overseeing the organization’s capital structure. 
• Risk Management: Identifying, analyzing, and managing financial risks including credit, market, and operational risks. 
• Finance risk management: Taking out insurance policies, hedging against currency or interest rate fluctuations, and other risk management strategies. 
• Investor Relations: Developing and maintaining relationships with the investors and analysts.  Communicating the organization's financial performance to external stakeholders. 
• Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of the organization's overall strategic planning and ensuring that financial strategies are aligning with the organization's goals. 
• International Expansion: Planning, setting up and running the International offices. Responsible for planning the International expansion strategies. Developing and maintaining relationships with the foreign consultants and vendors. Being updated on the compliance and laws governing the foreign subsidiaries. 
• Liaison with Bankers: Building a strong relationship with the bankers to ensure that they understand our financial needs which may involve regular communication, meetings, and collaboration. Sharing accurate and timely financial information with bankers, such as financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections as per our requirement. Negotiating the financial terms which may involve interest rates, repayment terms, and other conditions of a loan or financial arrangement. 
• Internal audit: Internal auditors will report to the Finance head and the Finance head will be responsible to ensure the recommendations shared are followed through.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proven strategic planning experience at the management level (CFO level)
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• 8-12 years of Experience
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Experience in different geographies
• Leadership skills
