Job Description

Role

The Associate finance manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization. This role will involve providing financial analysis and insights, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be a team player, technically proficient and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Strategic Planning: Contributing to the development of the organization’s overall strategic plan and ensuring that financial strategies align with the organization’s goals.
• Treasury Management: Preparation of cash flow reports, rolling cash flow forecasts, discussion with the Board, investments, and financial risk. 
• Financial Reporting: Overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial statements and other financial reports to stakeholders. 
• Accounting Operations: Overseeing the organization’s accounting processes, including managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. 
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations and developing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities. 
• Corporate Governance: Ensuring compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements and maintaining effective internal controls and governance processes. Responding to and communicating with the auditors. Ensuring timely completion of applicable audits, reviewing the audit workings, and leading the audit meetings from the company side. 
• International Expansion: Assisting the Finance Head in setting up offices, acting as a bridge between the GL executive (International Business) and the Finance Head. 
• Teamwork: Collaborating with the finance team to achieve the organization’s goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Competencies

• 4-6 years of experience
• Qualified Chartered Accountant 
• Experience in the field of Big Four (Statutory Audit + Financial Due diligence + FP&A team)
• Experience in Post funding analysis start up (Finance Head / Finance function)
• Experience in area of Financial planning & analysis and Financial reporting
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent technical skills
• Collaborative approach
