Job Description

  • Be responsible for leading and delivering the support of the applications to time, quality and budget using defined methods, processes and tools
  • Support activities to improve our product’s reliability despite the market conditions
  • Use established techniques for estimating and planning, resource management and quality management
  • Work with your team to identify and develop preventative measures to reduce Incident/problem re-occurrence
  • Manage the team in understanding and meeting Service levels
  • Develop processes to maximize the effectiveness of failure-mode part analysis and minimize overall part analysis time
  • Work with cross-functional teams address and resolve technical and commercial warranty issues
  • Set BCS NA/SA Warranty team strategy, goals, objectives, and priorities in line with BCS strategic priorities
  • Develop processes to ensure that internal/external warranty reporting is clear and concise with appropriate format and content that accurately conveys warranty status and drives appropriate actions
  • Create warranty related policies, procedures, work instructions and promote their effective and efficient application within the NA/SA warranty team

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience filing warranty claims in volume brand passenger vehicle
  • Preferably from AUTO ACCOUNTS BACKGROUND
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills in combination with the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment are essential
  • Knowledge of and experience in dealing with vendors
  • Good problem solving skills to gather and analyses information
  • Good interpersonal and high organizational skills
